1. Scope of Work
Tommy Clark Tile provides tile installation and flooring services for residential and commercial properties in Tallahassee, FL, and surrounding areas. Our services include tile flooring, backsplashes, bathroom remodeling, waterproofing, and custom tile work.
2. Estimates & Pricing
• All estimates are provided free of charge and are valid for 30 days.
• Final pricing may be adjusted if the project scope changes, but any additional costs will be discussed and approved by the customer before work continues.
• A deposit may be required before work begins, depending on the size of the project.
3. Project Scheduling & Timelines
• We schedule projects based on availability and will provide an estimated start and completion date.
• Delays due to weather, material availability, or unforeseen circumstances will be communicated as soon as possible.
4. Flooring & Tile Preparation
• It is the customer’s responsibility to clear furniture and personal items from the work area unless prior arrangements have been made.
• We will handle all demolition and subfloor preparation as part of the installation process unless stated otherwise in the contract.
5. Worksite Conditions & Clean-Up
• We strive to keep the work area clean and minimize dust and debris.
• We will dispose of old materials and clean up upon project completion, but final deep cleaning is the customer’s responsibility.
6. Warranties & Guarantees
• We stand by our craftsmanship and offer a lifetime waterproofing warranty on showers and wet areas.
• Tile and grout warranties depend on the manufacturer’s terms and proper maintenance.
• Issues resulting from foundation movement, structural issues, or improper home maintenance are not covered under warranty.
7. Payment Terms
• Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
• Late payments may result in additional fees or project delays.
8. Liability & Limitations
• We are fully insured, but we are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, hidden structural damage, or unexpected issues found during installation.
• We do not cover damages caused by improper use, neglect, or third-party repairs after project completion.
9. Customer Satisfaction
• We encourage a final walkthrough upon project completion to ensure satisfaction.
• If there are any concerns, they must be addressed within 7 days of completion for resolution.
10. Changes & Cancellations
• If you need to change or cancel a project, please notify us as soon as possible.
• Deposits may be non-refundable if materials have already been purchased or work has begun.
